Has anyone been refused entry to a supermarket with their puppy in a locked dog carrier bag ?
My daughter was refused entry to our local supermarket with her puppy, which was in a secure dog carrier bag, citing health & safety reasons ! When I purchased the bag, I was advised that it met all environmental, health & safety requirements and she could use it to take her puppy to shopping malls, supermarkets etc. Up until now, we have had no problems. Has anyone else had a similar problem, or knowledge of the legislation, as the dog is not freely roaming about. Staff couldn't tell me what health & safety rules were being broken, but they still refused her admission. Thanks. Sorry, forgot to add that the puppy is extremely comfortable in the carrier bag, never barks and usually falls asleep.

What's the best dog carrier for an american eskimo?
I wanted a carrier, either rolling or like a duffel bag that I can take my 20 lb american eskimo with me on trains and stuff. All the cute bags cater to super small dogs. The other ones that fit my dog aren't easy to travel with. I also wanted something comfortable for my dog and me. It doesn't have to be cute, but I would prefer not overly bulky.
I have a bag called "Sturdi-Bag" that comes in a number of sizes. Check it out on the web. It's the very best, IMO, because of the way ... See More

If your dog is in a carrier bag, can you take into public places?
I just bought a small dog carrier purse. If she is in it does that mean I am able to take her into public places without getting kicked out or in trouble? I hate leaving her at home so I thought this would be a good solution!
If there are clearly signs that say "No Pets Allowed" or some such wording, then yes, you can still get in trouble. It means just that, the ... See More

What would be the purpose of getting a dog carrier/tote bag?
I was thinking of getting a dog carrier/tote bag for my 10 pound chihuahua. I have no idea why! I just know that people who have chihuahuas get these bags and the doggy sits in it and you look like a celebrity. I don't know. I guess if I were taking him out with me and I didn't want him running around or maybe a store where he can't be out and about in. I guess I would have it for that. But what are some other reasons to have it?
Safety! Not to resemble a celebrity..... See More
