I hope this doesn't sound stupid or anything. But I heard or read somewhere that you shouldn't a car-seat that is 5 or more years old? I was just wondering if I was going to have to buy a new infant carrier, as my daughters will be 5 when this baby is born, and I also used it with my niece. So do I need to buy a new one? It is a Graco infant carrier, it is 5 point harness, never been an any accidents, and also one has just been sitting in the basement for the past 3 1/2 or so years. But it sounds like a new one is probably the safest bet.
